Saturday late PM was the time of arrival after a stop at the Linder's in North Branch to introduce four queens (bees).  Daggett's was the grocery stop du jour and I purchased a carrot cake from their bakery, two containers of Old Home Strawberry Banana Yougurt,  a quart of skim milk, salsa, shredded mild chedder and two types of nacho chips, and a package of frozen hash brown potatoes.

Sunday was spent working outside:

• 8:30-10:15...fill knotholes
• 10:15-11:30...caulk around doors and windows
• 11:30-1:30...scrap and paint trim on south side, and prime sun porch
• 1:30-2:00...orange pop and two corn dogs
• 2:00-5:00...chainsaw wood in front of home and about 75 thorn-trees
• 5:00-5:30...label LJG's garden stuff...neglect to get assessment of ground cherries and something else
• 5:30-6:45...introduce new queen in fourth hive.  Check hive #3...nice queen and brood pattern
• 7:00-7:45...laundry and clean up
• 8:15 ...leave for Shoreview
