Our son, Thomas and his good friend Emily recently attended the 'Prom' at Mounds View High School.  They did stand out.  As part of a national competition, they created their attire from that all-applicable fix-all, duct tape.  The winners of this competition get big scholarship money, and their parents would appreciate your help in voting for them.

The result is really quite beautiful, and is not painted on duct tape, but comprised of many, many cut and torn pieces to re-create Vincent Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' painting from 1889.  The creative effort was a great experience, but at the expense of Thomas's Calculus grade.  Often referred to as Van Gogh's 'tumultuous style,' much can be interpreted from the raging and rolling night sky.  Some consider the Old Testament story of Joseph to have influence Van Gogh.

How to vote......

Many, many thanks for the vote!!!!!
